Art Siegel, senior partner at SeaBird Associates,
is the company's sales strategist, helping clients develop and implement
strategies to increase both sales productivity and revenue. Art also is an
accomplished author and columnist.
Art has held positions in sales, sales management, marketing management and sales training, primarily in the computer industry. He started his career in Public Television, rising to the position of production manager for the Mr. Rogers Television Show. Then he made the transition to sales and marketing. Positions included:
In July, 1995, Art launched SalesDoctors Magazine, the first totally Internet-based sales skills magazine. SalesDoctors was a weekly magazine with more than 1,500 articles on every facet of the sale from lead generation to repeat orders. The site was visited by more than 150,000 sales professionals, sales & marketing managers, executives and business owners per month. In May, 2000, SalesDoctors was sold to Ockham Technologies, an Atlanta-based developer of sales management software.
